Animal Services investigates online complaints within 48 hours. If this is an animal related emergency the Sheriffs Office Dispatch non-emergency number is 903-813-4411. For immediate emergencies dial 911. All dogs, cats and ferrets are required to be currently rabies vaccinated.

Stray – Any domestic non-livestock animal that is found but not claimed within 24 hours

Rabies – Any possible exposure to rabid animals (human or pets) must be reported

Bite – Any dog- cat or ferret bites must be reported regardless of vaccination status

Restraint Complaint- Dogs are required to be restrained to the owner’s property

Possible Cruelty - Pets must have access to safe shelter/food and clean water at all times

Complaint* Please include the description of the animal, any of the owner’s information (if known), and the date, time, and location of the incident.
