Mission Statement: The mission of the Grayson County Law Library is to provide specialized legal reference resources in a variety of formats to the legal community, litigants and residents of Grayson County, TX.
History: Established in 1967, the Grayson County Law Library is funded by monies received from civil case filing fees, user fees and donations. The Grayson County Commissioners have delegated management of the Law Library and supervision of the Law Librarian to the District Attorney's Office.
Availability: Open Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm & 1:00pm - 5:00pm the library is open to all Grayson County residents - public, litigants, and legal professionals alike. The librarian is happy to assist library users with the various resources but cannot provide legal advice. Every effort is made to purchase current and authoritative materials but as with any publication, errors may exist therefore any information located in the library's collection is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
The library collection does not circulate to insure all materials will be available when needed.
The library closes on County holidays and may be closed when the Librarian attends meetings or conferences. Please call ahead if you want to make sure we are open at 903.813.4320.
