Declarations:

Declaration of Disaster 03/25/2022

Order Extending Declaration of Disaster 03/29/2022

FOR ASSISTANCE:

Please take these steps to maximize your eligibility for disaster relief:

  1. Photograph and document all damages.
  2. If you have insurance, make a claim immediately.
  3. Report your damages through the iSTAT survey reporting tool damage.tdem.state.tx.us.
  4. Register for assistance at https://tinyurl.com/sherwoodshoresassistance for case management services with Grayson Disaster Relief (a long term recovery effort of OEM and non-profits of Grayson County, fiscally administered by United Way of Grayson County).
  5. Apply for reduced valuation of property due to tornado damage - click here.

This is the FASTEST way to help us help you.

As we all work through these processes, more disaster relief options may become available and you will then be on our “list” as an impacted resident with unmet needs. Disaster relief and recovery processes are not fast, unfortunately.

You may call our office for more information but please be aware our responses are delayed as we work this event due to the volume of inquiries. Our main administrative office telephone number is 903-813-4217. Please be patient with us.
