Virtual Commissioners Court

Grayson County will offer to the public the ability to view and participate in upcoming Commissioners Court meetings through videoconference technology.

Beginning on March 24, 2020, Grayson County’s Commissioners Court meetings will comply with Governor Abbott’s declaration on March 16, 2020, to suspend certain portions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The governor’s suspension of portions of the Open Meetings Act will allow for telephonic or videoconference meetings of governmental bodies that are accessible to the public in an effort to reduce in-person meetings that assemble large groups of people.  See Attachment for list of portions of Open Meetings Act temporarily suspended.

Members of the public who wish to view or participate in the Grayson County Commissioners Court meetings can go to [Virtual Commissioners Court] for more information.
