The Grayson County Sheriff's Office Reserve Section is a volunteer organization made up of trained and Certified Texas Peace Officers. Most of the Reserve members live and work in this community in other professions and choose to donate their time and expertise to the citizens of Grayson County.

The Reserve Section boasts of having over 150 years of combined experience. Membership includes several deputies who have retired from other Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the country.

This unit is strongly supported by the Commissioners Court and the Sheriff’s Office Staff. Each year, they financially support the needs of the Reserve unit, such as uniforms and needed equipment.
