Document Repository Search Online

Grayson County began digitizing archived documents last year and recently completed the digitizing of all Commissioners Court records prior to 2008 or when we officially went to our automated Agenda System.

Special Technical Note:  Your system must be permitted to permit traffic on port "8012" in order to use this interface.

Instructions
To get you started, click on the "Document Repository" button below you will be taken to a logon screen for our Laserfiche WebLink software.  Please enter "public" for User Name and leave the Password blank.

Once you sign in you'll see two tabs "Browse" and "Search".  Browse is pretty self-explanatory.  We recommend using the "Search" tab.  When you click on the "Search" tab click the down-arrow next to the "Customize Search" window and select "text".  All Commissioners Court Minutes were process as "Text-Searchable" documents.

In the "Text" window type in anything you want.  For example, type in the phrase "adding machine".  You'll notice a group of results in the right window.

On the first line, click on the blue 3 and scroll to the bottom of the page.  You'll notice a couple of partial lines where your text was used.  Click on the first line "Page 25: RACT WITH BURROUGHS ADDING MACHINE CO ~ August 12, 1946. 1 COURT IN REGULAR SE" and you'll be presented with the actual minutes page containing that phrase.  At the top of the page you'll see that you can page through the rest of the document as well.
